My first gun: Marlin XL7 30-06

Gun just came in today, which happens to be my birthday, the 15th.
I picked up a used 3-9x40 scope while I was there for $30.00.
Went to Walmart got the scope mounts, box of Remington 150gr, Bore Snake, and Rim Oil 1oz.

Gun $325, Scope $30, Mounts $11, The feel of the bolt going in and out, priceless.
So for $366 30-06 package. Walmart seems to have the best prices on ammo, cheaper than every where online. Though they had Federal something for $12.99/150gr/20rd at the shop I got my gun.
 
It aint no sniper rifle. But it looks like a nice starter hunting rifle. Never fired a marlin. But an M1 30-06 now theres a rifle.
 
Soulzz bought rim oil once...it wasnt what he thought it was though...

Right now the fan part is sliding the 4th round in, once you figure out how to do it good it isn't so hard though.
