I'm thinking of getting a new SSD in my laptop (MSI gt683dx), just for battlefield 3, any recommendations?

What size are you looking at getting? I've had Gskill and Crucial and both have run flawlessly. Check that-the original Gskill I got was first generation and had a firmware problem where the SSD bricked after 6 months of use. I contacted Gskill and had a new replacement free. My wife still uses that one and it's still being used daily in my wife's PC and is over 3 years old now. The Crucial I have is the M4 256gb and is a little over a year in use. With some of the problems that Sandforce firmware had a while ago I just didn't trust getting an SSD with their firmware. That's been resolved now, but I can deffinitely attest to Gskill quality and service and Crucial reliability as well.

I've owned 2-3 OCZ's and would not buy another; I've had to RMA 2 of them. I've had 2 G.Skill's in my work laptop and bought them in 2009. I have a Crucial M4 in my desktop and love it.

I have an OCZ Vertex 60GB for my OS. I love it, its very fast; as it should be. No troubles with it after around 5months or so.
