arma in general is stressful for any pc no matter how much it is it all depends on the cards and how well they handle AA and shaders thats all it really comes down to
 
the game is just poorly optimized :S sadly
rocket was mentioning hes getting the crew working in and on all the towns to improve framerates to armaIII standards
 
Well I'm glad my computer can run it well now, because that would be unplayable IMO.
