help...reinstalled Bf2..

and downloaded 1.50...when i try to install the 1.50 patch...it tells me...i already have the new version installed....no i dont..i just have the plain vanilla unpatched Bf2...WTF???

i think you have to install 1.41 first, then 1.5

What badaaang said. It's been awhile since I played BF2, but I think that was the proper sequence.
