Gaming mouse

So last night during some metro my mouse decided to shit the bed and the left click stopped working. Can anyone recommend a high end gaming mouse in the 100-200$ range. Appreciate it!

I was using the Logitech mx518 before. I'll have to check those out
 
I used that same mouse as well, I think that's why I went with the g500. Even though its not in the $100-$200 range :P
 
If you are an aggressive player, the microsoft male wireless series are the best.. they lose their beauty, but survive like a cockroach - unpressurized aircraft cargo, handling by kenyan luggage crew, drowning in a 4ft pool, throwing against a soviet apartment box wall(this shit survives nuclear), stepping on

The one I'm using has lost it's rubber parts & decorative features, but I still rape with it with impeccable precision.

The only reason I'm trying to find a new one is because it eats batteries like mad.
 
My mouse was no match against my floor. Durability sounds like a need for me :p

Why buy old. When you can get new. First off. Find a mouse that fit you. No really. Every mouse is a different size and shape. Just like every hand is. I'd always buy a new mouse off others storys. Wrong move. Go to a store and put every mouse in your hand and feel.

Second, It's a big no no to game with wireless. After years of playing wired. I went wireless and went crazy. Woundering were my game went. It was that fraction of delay. That was the cause.

I've been using a Microsoft SideWinder Mouse http://www.buy.com/pr/product.aspx?sku=204996603&sellerid=13416188 for about 5 years now. My hand picked it and not my head. Needed a big, long mouse to over come hand fatigue and cramping. The long nights with a small mouse were killing me. It's hard to say what to get but I've been looking at this one for some time now.

I don't like the Logitech mice, they fail regularly and don't perform as well as the Razor one, in my experience. I love the Deathadder, simple reliable and great tracking. The Imperator I like more, but it's too sensitive for BF3-you're gun won't fire all the time when you hit the left mouse button-even after the update to BF3-poor coding, it's not the mouse.

Anyway, Steelseries also makes great gaming mice-might try the Sensei.
 
Logitech G500. I've had the G3, MX518's and now I have a couple G500's. I've had good luck with them.

I have a Kone+, 518, G9x G500, Deathadder, Steelseries Ikari laser, Sensei, RAT7...and many more.

For comfort, the Ikari, Kone and Sensei. Overall including software...the Ikari and Sensei...hands down.

I've been taking a look around local shops and they have none of the mice suggested besides the RAT mouse, but as stated; seems overdone. I don't want to gamble an option and just order one online without testing first. Living in a small city is shit!
 
If you can find a mx518, then that would be a good mouse to go with. Razor's are good but depending where you are, it's like playing Russian roulette. Sometimes you get good ones that last awhile, other times its not even worth the box it came in because of the failure rate. I've used a lot of Logitechs, microsofts, razors, steel series, and a few random brands. atm tho I'm using a Logitech G700 (Which most best buys carry), I find it's a good mouse. So for my suggestion it would be a mx518 (wire) if you can find it or a G700 (wire/wireless).
 
The only issue Duke with ordering off newegg is you're going off of other peoples reviews/preferences. I wish I could get a feel for every mouse and choose which one feels best. Gotta make a decision soon though, having a battlefield withdrawal
 
Yeah,but if you don't like the mouse, send it back for a replacement of something else to try. Not much else to do unless you have the stores near you that sell gaming mice.
