[BF3] BF3 activation issue

So, Ive been MIA for awhile and wanted to play some Bf3 and get this amazing garbage from EA. I've done some digging and found some "fixes", but wanted to see if anyone has dealt with this and what worked for you?

I had the same issue... Called EA and worked thru thier support without success, but stumbled upon this fix... It works...
