I'm not a fan of windows remote desktop and i like logmein, but since it goes through the logmein servers first its laggy regardless. I want something that allows for LAN connections and WAN, doesnt log me out of the current profile im in, and is responsive. Runnin windows 7 64bit. Anyone have any suggestions?

you did not mention teamviewer and radmin :p

STOP YOUR WHINING!

radmin wasnt mentioned when i hit "quote" :-p edited my post huh?:p

And i didnt know teamviewer did anything but remote helping where u needed the other person there to accept assistance.

I'll try both.

Looked up Dameware but it seems hard to "find" unfortunately.

Shweet, thanks for all the info. I'll try all these out and see what works for me. It's a pain in the ass tryin to config my HTPC with the DiNovio mini i bought. It's awesome for what its for, but it sure as hell aint for putting the finishing touches on a freshly installed OS.

Other than Windows RDP the only other remote desktop software I have used recently is Radmin & TeamViewer and they both work really well for me. Years and I do mean years ago I did use a program called PCAnywhere but it was not very reliable. Logmein is ok but your right it can be kind of laggy and unresponsive at timesdue to thier servers.
