AMD's Benchmark for Radeon RX 6000 GPU Shows Close Performance With Nvidia's RTX 3080

If the unspecified Radeon RX 6000 card teased today is less expensive than the $699 GeForce RTX 3080, we may have a real GPU war on our hands.

Those benchmarks are near enough to 3080 not to matter to a lot of people, especially considering the price. If AMD prices this round right they could steal a good chunk of the market share.

It's been a looong time since AMD or should I say ATI has challenged Nvidia. I'm glad to see them do it again even if it has taken them entirely too long to do so.

Right? How do you launch a next gen product that destroys previous versions and not have them available at "launch"? This was mostly a paper launch from the buyer perspective.

Competition is a lovely thing. It's going to be a great time to upgrade because they'll be cutting prices and pushing the tech advances harder to get the upper hand on each other. Yay for us!
