For those of you that have experienced both is there really enough difference to justify the price difference?

My main game at the moment is DayZ

For a fast action game, it is well worth it. Mine BenQ 27in is actually a 120hz, and I can tell the difference.
If you play games where you get very high FPS (120+) consistently, it is worthwhile. If you tend to hang in the 60-100 fps range it probably won't be as beneficial.
If you are looking to upgrade your monitor anyway (size, ms performance, etc) then I would recommend it. BenQ and Asus have some good 120/144hz monitors out there at 24in at decent prices.

I can answer that in two words. Fuck yes! To me, even when not in game the picture is just sharper and more defined. In game it's phenomenal. I won't ever go back to a traditional monitor

120 hz is way better. I bought a 120 hz tv when they came out and was shocked but a few years later they are up to 240 for the same price :(

If someone knows of a TV that's guaranteed to do 120Hz and is 40"-42" for under $300, let me know. I've been looking for a replacement for a few months now. They're either too expensive or not sure if they do 120hz.
