2142 Patch 1.50 Backup Instructions

If you want to be able to play both the 1.51 patch and the older version, 1.50, this is what you need to do.




Backup Instructions

1. Go to the install folder for 2142 "C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142"

2. Right click this folder and click copy

3. Right click and click paste this will make a copy of the 1.50 (original) version. I keep the copied folder in the same location

4. Rename the copied folder to .backup or whatever

Now that you have a backup you can install the 1.51 patch like you would install any other patch.


When you want to play the 1.50 version again just rename the newly patched folder .patch or something similar. Then take the .backup folder and remove the .backup. You're now good to go.
