I agree im not a fan of buying unlocks either, I wish their wasn't that option. I much prefer getting my unlocks through gameplay then buying them, however since it is an option and it saves me a lot of time I will spend a little bit of money to get the unlocks. It doesn't make you a better...

I came into BF4 late and I did purchase all of the packs....however it does not include all of the weapons nor does it include any of the actual weapon mods. There are still at least 8 or 9 weapons I don't have unlocked even after spending over $60 on the packs. So it is not a be all to end all...
