Looks to me like a bad sector on your HDD. I would prophylactically surface test the HDD with something to see if it's an isolated incident or if it's completely bad and needs replacemenet...

Also download something that looks at the SMART table, and examine things like reallocated sector count. SMART is kind of retarded sometimes and I've seen it raise false alarms, but it can be useful I guess. The best test is a complete read surface test of your HDD.

Edit: There are many utilities you can test with, I've used this one before: HDDScan

It works, but the interface looks like a disease-infested dick. If you don't like it, search for "surface test hdd" or something similar and other shit will pop up.
 
Well, A package arrived at my door yesterday and my parents are out of town so I just happen to open it up. And there was a 120GB Samsung 840 EVO in it

That's not a surface test... the surface test is the one where it reads the entire disk sector by sector and takes like 2 hours. Smart shows no read errors and reallocated sectors... wtf?!
 
I ran the one that took like 2 hours, thats what the graph is, it wouldn't let me take the entire sector by sector thing. It was like 54 pages long

IDK, it looks like it might be a HDD is slowly falling apart... I've seen it where sometimes it reports bad sectors, sometimes it doesn't.

Maybe you can continue using it, just watch it and consider throwing away/RMA(if warranty)/replacing if it gets any worse? IDK.

Why would he be able to access a document on your machine :p You would have some serious security issues if that worked lol
 
Yeah I figured... The file uploader wont let me upload the report. If any of ya'll have Teamviewer you could check it out that way.
