[ST:O] Entity event will still give out some rewards after your done.

I just finished the event on both my characters. After 14 shards you get all your rewards. But you can keep doing it after your done. Each shard = 100 fleet marks. So 10 days of shard getting = the same amount of fleet marks you got doing the damn thing in the first place. But we only have a few days left anyhow.

This will of course be over when the event is finished on the 2nd. Fleet mark bonus pools do apply i got 1200 when i finished mine instead of 1000.
