Needs some input from you guys. I leave my left side off my tower at all times and my temps for one of my (SLI)GTX580 peaks in the 70's. Do you think if I put the side on my case its would make any difference? I suppose I could try it and see, but wanted your thoughts on it.

That's usual for a 580, and actually a little lower than norm for that card. That's one of the reasons I went with water cooling here in Houston...too damn hot otherwise.

That temp sounds about right. I have a 570 and it peaks out at 72.

Im assuming you both are on reference style coolers and sounds right. I have that Twin Frozr III cooler on my 570 and overclocked to 950 Mhz at 1.1 Volt I hit up to 64C at 60% fan speeds which right where it starts making noise and you dont wish to hear it any louder. Idles at 40% and 45C in my tiny case. Reference coolers on a lot of cards have the advantage if evacuating more of the air from the case while coolers like mine dump it all into the ambient air inside the case.
