My computer takes DDR3 memory. Right now it has 3 1gig sticks. I've been looking at different sites and see up to 4 gig sticks. My question is could I pull out the 1 gig sticks and put in the 4 gig sticks just as long as it is DDR3? I had have up to 4 sticks installed.

Make sure you have a 64 bit operating system. Also make sure that your motherboard can handle the frequency of this sticks. For example DDR3 @ 1800Mhz stick but motherboard can only handle 1600MHz.

I do. I'm running Vista 64. But where do I find out the mother's info?

Just download the CPU-Z and install it. It'll give anyone all the info they need regarding their mobo, processor, and RAM.
