I first hit this spot today doing my daily hunt. All of a sudden the music changed and there was snow everywhere I was like WTF.

I had not introduced this game before so a couple of notes. Its keyboard only with some very limited controller support. My controller is on the list but unofficially doesn't work for shit. So steering is pretty much transition to full lock. So tappy tappy stearing NES style. Throttle is full on or nothing. You can't actually hit other people outside of a race so in open world only non player traffic has to be avoided.
