Headset & Sound Card question for Creative Labs Fatal1ty Professional owners.

Greetings everyone,
I have three quick questions to ask.

1)Do any of you fine individuals use the following combination of headset & sound card?
Creative Labs SB0886 PCI Express Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional Series Sound Card
Creative Labs HS-980 Fatal1ty Professional Series MKII Gaming Headset

2) What is your opinion of the background noise silencer technology?

3) Based on your experience can this hardware combination really eliminate or reduce background noise emitted from say a ceiling fan for example?

My current Altec Lansing headset needs to be replaced. Hopefully by pairing my sound card with the dual microphone headset designed for it I can make voice chat more pleasant for those with whom I participate in it with.

These are ridiculously awesome headphones for the money ($47.00).
I love what the 40 mm base drivers do to the sound of spent shellcases being discharged.
With this kind of base, I bet I can feel people walking up behind me to steal my dog tags.
