Catalyst driver, need help

I installed the update for Catalyst 11.1 now it won't load. I've done full uninstall with both the uninstall for catalyst and using a driver uninstall program. Then installing the previous drivers with no luck. If anyone knows how to get catalyst working again please help. Thanks

Have you looked at the Device Manager properties of your display adapter to see what, if any driver is showing there? I mention this because you might also have to go there and uninstall the driver manually from this location also. It's worked for me before.

Edit: Also, if you're stuck try a system restore to a time before this happened and then I'd stay away from that hotfix.
