So I have many parts just sitting around and decided to build a new computer for a friend. I have many options to do but wanted to see what you guys thought.
OPT 1: Use phenom 2 cpu (own)(not tested),
Buy AMD mb $85.
OPT 2: USE RMA'd sabertooth p67 mb (own)(not tested)
Use 3770k (own)(BN)
OPT 3: Use sabertooth
Buy 2500k-2600k
OPT 4: Use 3770k
Use gigabyte z87x-UD3H (currently on 4770k)
buy z97 mb for 4770k
or sell 4770k
Another option is a buddy was offering me a trade for his 2600k, $35 cash and a 500w psu (which is a item I need) for my brand new 3770k.
