I guess that extra 5 bucks makes a huge difference. Game looks cool for sure but would rather wait for full release seeing how ea games are somewhat annoying from time to time.

As with any game in Alpha, the optimization isn't great. But in the last few patches it has improved a lot. 2 patches ago they improved it 40%. I'd say I get about 35-45FPS.

Just picked it up. Seems apparent it was derived from the movie Riverworld, which is based on Philip Jose Farmer's To Your Scattered Bodies Go ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/To_Your_Scattered_Bodies_Go ). All well and good, As I enjoyed both. Of course they've added dinosaurs here.
Anyway to save yourself dozens of painful deaths, read this:

Pay attention to that tip about starting out in the southern climes. North is inhospitable ('dozens of painful deaths'). When I get up a couple of more levels I'll check in and see if TBG will have a group. Hope my character transfers from the solo game.
$30 on Steam these days, and it's still in development.
