About ready to overclock this fothermucker. Oh and I killed a GPU!

Don't wory you will get your chance when I build my truck buddy. I am going to rip apart and cut off a bunch of shit.

LOL I sadly spent my truck money on this rig, well half of it so far. The only thing I want more than an LS powered blazer is 5ghz and Battlefield 3. Being a broke ass sucks.

Zalman CNPS 9900 MAX not to be confused with the regular 9900 or NT. Different pipe much better performance. Good for ram clearence without downgrading to a cooler master 212. As bot pointed out to me its number 7 on frosty techs top 10. Frio would have been my other choice due to the small case. I wanted to get the noctua nhd14 off willis but it doesnt fit.

so.... is it a POS or not?

i might get it.

I dont believe it is. But wether or not it is there is one problem. With most larger tower cooler setups if a fan dies its no big deal theire easy to find a replacement solution. With this its a little more difficult if at all possible. So keep that in mind.

http://www.frostytech.com/top5heatsinks.cfm Still number 7 for Intel and funny enough a newer zalman takes 7th for amd lol.
The review from them (plenty others out there) - http://www.frostytech.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=2567

I bought myne because a friend in austrailia runs it on his 2600K and I was looking for a decent cooler that fit in this small case and didnt cover the ram. Install is very easy once you realize one thing. They give you an allen wrench to put it on. You might look at your vrm and then the heat sink and cant figure how the hell your going to screw it in. The long end has a rounded hex head on it that works at extreme angles. Works very awesomely.

I am not so sure I would use the paste that came with it though. Thick as hell.
