I LOVE wargames!!

Started on a board games. Stratego, Axis & Allies, Tactics II, Risk and even Chess. Then introduced to Delta Force II and became addicted to online gaming. Joined the MEOW clan (Military Experts of War) and used the name Thunderkat (love my avatar).

Then the games started to flood the scene and the main options were Battlefield, COD and Joint Operations. I went with JO and joined a tournament that played with 200 (on 1 map) with players from all over the world and every age group. Battled ays (Sundays) were 8 hours long and plans were prepared during the week. I played in over 30 campaigns (7 years worth) and loved every moment. Over half the campaigns I was an infantry CO and many times had over 30 players in my company alone.

Then again, time changes. Played with BF3 and then wandered into ARMA3. Unfortunately for me, the days of teamwork seemed to have faded. I've recently found Squad and and at least it forces an 9 man team so I can handle it somewhat.

I play smart, I hate to die and I can usually find a way into any base even if I have to crawl all the way there. I know how to set a defense and I dislike people that just run into a bullet knowing that they can just re-spawn. And I really enjoy it when I have the highest score with no kills, this makes me smile.

Anyway, I only play in TBG and West Coast Tactical because they provide me with the best ping. I play almost every day, so here I am, looking for whats next in my combat future.

War is nothing more than organized insanity. That's why crazy and unexpected tactics work most of the time. When they don't, we won't live to tell about it.
