    pc freezinnnnn

    ok, my pc has been constantly crashing for week now, im pissed. :@. and it also takes like 2 minutes to boot win7, and i have a core i7 and 6 Gigs of RAM !!!!!!!

    porn !??!.... na dont think so. i have abused too much of this win7 installation.

    so, im reinstalling everything. i will format my disks and hope to be back again in maybe 2 days since i really dont have time to finish doing this today.

    anyone knows how to save bc2, so i dont lose my installation ? i have the retail game, not the steam version.

  2. If it works like other BF games....backup the core files under my programs and the my documents.

    it is almost impossible to save it correctly and be sure everything is saved correctly.
    You would have to save every BC2 Registry entry. Some might be on a EA registry branch.
    When you say the retail, it means you update your version with the EA BC2 Updater ?
    You might find something on the web for this but Im sure at 99%, it will be a very hard thing to do.
    Best way is to download everything again. And by that time, one day or so, we won't need to bother about you, so it could be a good thing for us Chivox.

    Before you start getting buck wild on reinstalling; I would check to see if you have a bad stick or ram;

    For the personnal settings, vengeance is right but I don't think Chivox is talking about this.

    In my experience addling milk and water directly onto the ram sticks usually does the job.
