Unknown - Causing server to crash?

Supposedly around 8.53-8.54 pm EST, 1.28.19, someone came into the BF3 Conquest server and said he was gonna crash the server. The server then did crash. Is it possible to check the chat logs and ban this player if that is indeed what happened?
