Actually, it looks like shit.

The models are shit.

The voiceovers are shit.

The incendiary ammo is UTTER shit.

The level design is a LOT of shit.

The "music" is TWO shits!

And finally, the fact that this should've been a DLC for L4D is shit on a stick. Nevermind the fact that they are thinking of porting the L4D stuff to it, making L4D obsolete...

I'm not sure if I'll be buying this if the final product still looks / feels like this, nevermind the slap in the face by Valve to current L4D customers (depending on final pricing / discounts for L4D owners) and the obsolescence of L4D...

I guess Valve turned the COD way indeed, which is fine for COD-style games (no mods)... but it's going to likely anal fist-fuck the modding community for L4D.

In fact, a lot of people at the Valve forums still think it's a publicity stunt / joke (much like I reacted when Soulzz told me on Monday) due to the staggeringly low quality of the gameplay videos and the very unusual (and very stupid imo) move by Valve to the "once a year game update" business model...
 
I personally thought the L4D series had a long lasting 3 years left in it. We'll see.
