I played the demo for about an hour, whilst having some joystick calibration issues. I really didn't like the control setup AT ALL. I also wish I could have tested the multiplayer online, but I could only play 1 single player mission, which was way too easy. Anyways, here's some info on it, including minimum and recommended system specs.

Perhaps you were having issues with your joystick, because the game is meant to be played with a gamepad? LMAO... sad but probably the case.

I'll check it out tomorrow anyway and let you know what I think.

Still feels and looks like a console port...

[rant]Yep, that's what I was about to say too...

It looks pretty good, but it definitely has the console "flair." I can't explain it exactly, but it's something about the graphics, menus, control scheme, gameplay/camera design choices that makes it feel... just... cheap.

That said, it's fun... but it's no serious game by any means. It's about as fun as going on a ferris wheel - it's all fun and games, but it's not particularly engaging and you don't really remember it when it's over.

Also, whoever decided that the camera should switch to external for "non-assisted mode" or whatever it was called can lick my sack (probably more than one person and at a meeting, but anyway).

Sure, I'll probably play it... but when it's over, that'll be about it.

Nevermind the low-realism / flashy-ass flight model that can make any 12 year-old feel like a badass missile-dodging pilot with a huge, shiny, reflective visor that says (1337) on top... but, that's what consoles are.

Sadly, I'm seeing more and more games turn into this drivel lately. FEAR 2 is also halfway there for example, although I still did like it quite a bit.

I really hope the PC centric FPS industry stays afloat, otherwise I might have to stop playing games altogether... which might not be a bad thing altogether lol... but anyway, that's not the point.
