[BF4] Dragon Valley , can we add it to bf2/3 maps?

A few players have asked if we could add Dragon Valley to bf3 /bf2 map server.
or a test run to see . I wouldn't mind at all:) Great map , miss it.
 
There are a couple lengthy threads somewhere in our forums about removing Dragon and outbreak and a vote was made. This is what we have done.
 
Oh yes. Many of us players miss dragon valley now. Maybe run a poll to add it back with a reduced ticket count?
 
lot of the Dragon Valley server players now play on BF3/BF2 server. Now that the Dragon valley server is gone and many other bf4 clan servers are gone, players are looking for a new server to call home. I really think Dragon Valley map would do better this time on BF3/BF2 map server as many BF4 servers have changed to BF1.
it is a BF2 map:) Not asking to replace bf3/bf2 maps server , just to add Dragon Valley to the server please .

just a few that have asked the last few days. May not have worked before but I think with so many bf4 servers gone now it would be a sure hit this time.
 
You know where I stand on this issue. Great gameplay, lots of vehicles and great map layout make this map GREAT for both infantry and vehicular combat. The ability to destroy and repair bridges alone make it awesome. I do understand why some people did not like the high ticket count before but since some have moved on to BF1 I believe the regulars and some others would appreciate it since there is no more DV map server. I also understand if its too much trouble for the community to keep switching the maps in the bf2-3 maps server as a result of our changing attitudes. I don't speak for all but I think a democratic vote to see how people in the community feel about a map change in the server. I have also noticed some SAS members returning back to the server so I dont know how they will feel about the addition so a vote to see where they stand would help. MAKE DRAGON VALLEY GREAT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!! One caveat tho BAN Chuuurles, MilitaryDan, Espinioge, Blue and Deathstroke from playing on the server. JK. Hehe. :)

Its just another map for the Air whores

Personally I have nothing against adding Dragon Valley on BF2/BF3 map server since things has change with BF1... But I find it funny that every time someone bring back that subject in the forum not that many people actually comes in the forum to support the idea. BF2/BF3 map server is already our TOP BF4 server since a long time and ranked 20 in the world, there is towns of people playing on that server but no majority of them is reclaiming that map. I'm just saying that if they want it that bad it's not so hard to come show their support in the forum on the demand... And I will find it a bit not normal to change a choice that was made just with 4-5 players that miss a map on a server that is already very popular. You don't change a winning recipe unless it's starting to be less popular...
 
Lowering Ticket count (which would gimp the other maps) or put it in the rotation ONCE every 6 rounds.......

But loweringticket count like I said would REALLY hurt the other maps.

Extending map list( with same three maps) but tossing DV for 1 round out of 7 would be the ONLY viable option to thread DV back in the weave. Trying that (since BF1 release) may not take a big hit, but those OFF peak hours with 1200 ticket count with 16 people in the server is like washing your mouth out with paint thinner.


**caveat** if it isn't broken, don't break it. I think that is how the saying goes ;)
 
Reason why they were removed from the rotation is because the games were going on forever with how big the maps are. I'm good with putting outbreak back in, but not dragon valley.
 
I've mostly moved to BF1. However, most of SAS has stayed or gone back to BF4; therefore, every once in a while I'll grace them with my presence on the BF2/BF3 server.

I like Snakebabies' idea that if you're going to add DV, have it every other rotation. If you're going to do that it'd be nice to have outbreak in a similar rotation. ;)
 
We should put golf of Oman on less while where at it, seriously nobody likes that sandstorm expect chopper pilot gunners with thermal. But i digress bring dragon valley back!!! or at least 1 out 6 or 1 outa 7 DV
 
Feedback from the Second Assault community has helped keep that server populated....A new poll would not be a terrible idea. As this Poll http://tbgclan.com/threads/battlefield-3-battlefield-2-maps-no-lag-tbgclan-com.45209/ is a few months old, as well as PRE BF1. We got a lot of good input from regulars in that thread. New poll is inbound, lets see if we can get a metric fuck ton of traffic to this poll. Anyone who plays on SA server, lets bring some votes from in-game(not spamming), but lets put the word out: TBGclan.com BF2/3 rotationpoll!

amaru <3 I play lot of overwatch right now. that game is addictive af. But I will visit the server every once in a while. :p
