Yeah you read that correctly. Just to piss in Intel's wheaties, AMD is offering to do straight up swap of the INtel Core i7-8086 for an AMD Threadripper 16 core monster.

You'd be a making a poor decision to trade an 8086 for a 1950 imo. The sweepstakes CPUs are silicon lottery winners.
