Program to download from YouTube

Years ago i was using a program to download from youtube. basically download a video but only capture the audio and then i would put said audio file on my ipod and presto a clear clean copy of said song. i have since forgotten what program that was so when i went to do this again and looked at other programs that did in fact work BUT were loaded with malware and gave me a top of hard to get rid of pop ups which i was able to remove with combo fix and ADW cleaner but does anybody know of a good program that will do that with out all the malware?

I use Audacity If I want the audio, record from the Digital Output and everything's super, in addition it gives me the option to edit that audio.
