So I just ordered this thing. I've never owned a headset before and this seems decent for being wireless and the price. Has/does anyone own one? Any thoughts on it? Thanks.

I have the Logitech G930 headset and I'm not impressed... the battery life on it sucks... maybe 3 hours tops... it's heavy and doesn't breath very well... so I have sweaty ears now... I don't know how much weight the Corsair has and it looks like the ear muffs are cloth which should breath better. The 7.1 is good for BF4 so you can easily hear your surroundings really well... they look really nice, so you should look really cool in a dark room all by yourself.... hehehehehehe jk....... turn up the volume... oh, and it should be great for porn too....

I will always pick Sennheiser. It's worth the price, and it lasts a long time.

I own the older version of the 2100. It comes with cloth and plastic ear muffs and the cloth memory foam are much better imho. The battery life does suck after many months of usage, Im having to plug in my headphones over night almost daily so I dont lose battery life during games.

@Soulzz I was going to get a pair of Sennheiser, but are any of the models good? I know the 363Ds seem to be the top pick, but I didn't want to drop $200 on headsets. Also considering I don't have a good sound card besides the standard MoBo audio. Also with me building a new PC a sound card would be on the bottom of my purchase list.

I am not, I trashed my old mic because it was a cheap pos from like walmart. I already ordered them and it will be here Tuesday. We can talk then, if anything I can always just return them and pick up something else. Honestly I don't really mind the cost of the 363D, I just figured for something of that quality I would need a sound card. I'm sure having one regardless would be nice. I just didn't want to end up spending another few hundred $$ on a sound card to be able to enjoy the difference in quality.

So, I'm not sure if I got a lemon or if it's a "get what you pay for" sort of thing, but from Corsair I kind of had higher expectations. After using it for one night of gaming, well a few hours, the battery was dead. They seemed comfortable, but after a few hours of gaming I had a headache from wearing them and my ears got pretty hot. Another issue is they don't seem to keep out noises from my room. I have a standing fan and I can hear it just as loud with the headphones on as with them off (it's not even that loud of a fan). I wouldn't recommend these to anyone. I'll just stick with a nice set of desktop speakers and a mic like I've always done. Maybe one day down the road, I'll give a higher quality set like the 363D's a try.

It's the same with my Logitech G930. It's heavy, battery sucks, sweaty, and I can hear my computer fans when they kick into turbo... I'm wondering if all headsets perform just a bad? I would expect the higher priced ones wouldn't have any of these disappointing features....

f1N63r, I just bought a set of the G930s and fucking love them. first night however but sound quality, balance, and clarity are miles above my turtle beach x12's. I will report back how I like them after a gaming session. I have had leather muffs before and prefer cloth, but we will see ;)
