I am wondering if the DSR works? (Dynamic Super Resolution)

If so does it affect the frame rate? Does it really work?

Many users at the noVidia forum are having issues with this release.

A few grabs from Elite Dangerous.

DSR off:

So I activate DSR:

Holy fucking shit!

Much smoother. Especially if you zoom in; here's the top end of the docking bay in each of the two images:

Night and fucking day. But it annihilated my framerate - it's usually 90-100 in a scene like that one. 4k DSR drops it right down to the high 20s. That 970 might be worth getting after all. Meanwhile, I'm off looking for a sweetspot.

Here's a more realistic comparison; a slightly zoomed-in view of the scanner.

I'm in love. Now I just need a new video card.

i had to remove them as Alien Isolation doesnt work with them yet.

OK, I'm stoopid. Those 4k screenshots are actually 4k. Should have checked.

I'm wondering if there's a way to get a screenshot of what my monitor's actually displaying, rather than what's in the buffer. I'll keep at it; it really does look better but I'd love to be able to see exactly what's going on.

EDIT: Techreport managed to jury-rig a way to get screenshots: http://techreport.com/review/27102/maxwell-dynamic-super-resolution-explored

To get images of BF4 just be in windowed mode and use Hypersnap.

Had a nightmare trying to update. finally found the issue, after crashing windows 3 times lol. That said, I can't wait to experience it! If i will even notice it lol
