Looking to upgrade my 1080p to 1440p. I've got all the power i need in my GTX1080. Not sure I want to spend the $$ on a 4K monitor right now, maybe next generation of Graphics cards.

Anyone have something they love or recommend? Anyone selling a monitor?

I've heard excellent things about Asus monitors, also Samsung.

ISP+144hz+1440p+awesome features +overclockable. Not ultra wide tho but meh.

*EDIT* Personally id go for 144hz over ultra wide at 100hz but that's just me.

The Dell Ultra Sharp was a fine monitor and should serve you well. Check these out

Got the Acer Predator XB271HU back in October. It's perfect.

Did you choose any thing Yet? Really i think there's only three choices atm for top of the like 1440p displays. The
ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q i mentioned above or if you want ultra Wide the
Acer Predator X34 and if you don't like acer then the ASUS ROG Swift PG348Q (both 100hz and both with Gsync).

Yeah, decided I couldn't swing the money right now?

If you do end up trying to get one down the road. The mg279q is another good asus one, just doesnt have gsync, so price is a bit lower. I have one that I got for less with the "open box" option from newegg (the guy who returned it couldnt undo the screws for vesa mount, so i ended up saving 130 bucks). This is a 1440p 144hz monitor btw.

I seem to be faced with the same problem as you @DocHolliday , Do you currently have a 1080p with gsync?
nope, I have a 27in 1080q 120hz from BenQ. I'm very happy with it. just interested in some higher resolution. I think the gsync is a bit over priced at this point.

whats the model of your current one?

really i don't think theres any reason to get G-Sync if you maintain frames over your displays refresh rate all the time. In fact G-Sync adds a bit of input lag

Got myself the DELL S2716DG, I mean, first impressions...

Beautiful thing this is.... If only facebook messenger allowed to take good pictures...
