MTV is nothing like it was back in the day. Sure, in the early days we had to watch "Walkin' on Sunshine" or "Video Killed the Radio Star" until our eyes bled, but at least it was not bullshit and no videos.
And - new kill streak 51, gunning for Alden this morning! Quick round before school.

I haven't watched MTV for years, but it was quite awesome back in the mid-90's... in Europe anyway, IDK about the US one.

The downfall of MTV was Real World. It began MTV's foray into reality television and just more non-music programming. Now MTV2 plays music videos but it's pretty much just Rap, Hip-Hop, and R&B. Though I think they still play the rock countdown. I prefer a more eclectic variety of music.
