    Passchendaele

    Solid WWI movie. The middle act is set in Canada during a recruitment drive, but it's topped and tailed with some of the best trench fighting action I've ever seen. And it's pretty much accurate, too.

    Haven't heard of this one but I'll be sure to check it out (if i can) but, the picture for the movie kinda looks like a poster from "pearl harbor" imho, i saw that movie and thought it was cool till it turned out into a love story. LOL! who watches a movie thats war when all of a sudden the movie becomes love story? I'd walk right out and ask for my money.

    For sure there's a love story, but it's rather well handled and the bit with the rat and the dead German near the end more than makes up for it.
