Its a small world we live in when you can run into people you used to know looking for answers.

That particular app actually had a tragic story. 5 minutes after release I lost the source code. File recovery got back a very early copy of some work he did on the ipl injection but it was all bad code. Even worse his computer died and I ended up having to rewrite everything he did from memory because I could not get a hold of him.

The awesome-looking homage to 80s cheese is out, and there's a download code in my inbox. I've heard good things from people who have played, too. There's just one problem: Blood Dragon is apparently about eight hours long. That's great for a game that costs only $15, but it also means I'll have to do some juggling to find enough time to really sink my teeth into it.
As a gamer, the sad fact is I'm past my prime. A decade ago, I would play Battlefield 1942 with friends for eight-hour stretches in a single evening. I had fewer responsibilities and other hobbies back then, and I could get by on a lot less sleep. ...

The official song of the U.S. Army, "The Army Goes Rolling Along," has received a makeover of sorts, per ALARACT 124/2013. There's now an introduction before the chorus:

To hype their upcoming products, mobo makers have teased various features, with ASRock most recently dropping hints on its swanky A-Style integrated audio. The firm has a whole 8-series micro-site that hints at other goodies, including 802.11ac W-Fi, "Home Cloud" capabilities, and a waterproof coating. The details on those are still to come.
